You'd think I had no complaints!

Given how long it's been since I posted here, you'd think I had no complaints!

On the contrary... my morning commute is annoying, and I recently realized I was probably passing that on to my coworkers, so I posted the following on my whiteboard, and for a few weeks, I'd simply say, "1a," or "1c" instead of complaining.

1.  Traffic (General)
1.a.  Yield <> Stop
1.b.  On-ramps are your chance to reach highway speeds!
1.c.  Move right except to pass; if there are people behind you but none to your right, move right!
1.d.  Don’t pull into traffic from a side-street w/o accelerating to traffic speeds
1.e.  People are not “in the crosswalk” on the other side of a divided highway.

Public Service Announcement #1

Here it is... my first official public service announcement as Disgruntled Dave Kristof!  Went out for groceries today, and on the way home, got behind someone who REALLY needs to learn this:

We have traffic circles in my town, and yield signs on each road entering the circle.  The circles are all small, and you can see every road connected to them as you draw near.  When there's someone in the circle, between you and the road to your left, you yield, which may force you to stop.  If nobody is in the circle, you DO NOT STOP!  You enter the circle and continue on your way.
